1) Balboa Park

Balboa Park is a tourist destination in and of itself. This 1,400-acre complex is home to several historical structures, museums, gardens, and green open spaces. The park was established during the 1915-1916 Panama-California Exposition, and the majority of the buildings from that period remain. The architecture is predominantly Spanish, with low-rise structures that blend in with the natural environment.
Several attractions in the park, including botanical gardens and a lily pond, the Museum of Man, the Museum of Natural History, the San Diego Museum of Art, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Even if you never step foot inside a building, the park is a breathtakingly gorgeous place to be.

2) San Diego Beaches
San Diego is ideal for a beach trip due to its year-round weather and miles of stunning surf-washed shoreline. Whatever you enjoy doing, San Diego's top beaches provide conditions for any form of activity.
